I would like to pose a question to all of you..
How do you define teenage?
Stop for a while and answer this to yourself before you resume reading...
 TEENAGE...........means......
Freedom
Friends
Partying
Independence
College
Movies
Dating
etc etc etc...


I am sure most of you might have answered the same.. After all I am also a teenager so I know what teenage is all about..
But how many of us have realised that there is something missing in the above list?

Not many of you might have guessed..
Its our "MOM" and "DAD" !!!!!!!!
Why is it that we teenagers overlook our mom and dad?
Why do friends become our top priority when it had to be mom and dad?
Why are parties with friends more appealing and enjoyable than family get-togethers?
Why have mom and dad become obstacles in our life?
Why have we stopped sitting with them for a while and having a little chat?
Why do we have the feelings of hatred and rebellion towards them?
Why can't we pay heed to their advice for once?
Why does their care seem to us like interference?
Why do we talk to them rudely?
Why do we treat them as somebody?
Why is there such a drastic change in our behaviour towards our parents when we enter into teenage?


May be none of us can answer the above question..
I'll try my hand at it...
Scientifically,its because of hormonal changes and all(as far as i know)...
Other than that, may be its because of our new-found freedom and liberty..
And,may be because of the urge to show the world that you are grown up..
Whatever it may be, it is not at all fair to treat our parents like that...Don't you all think so?
Parents are a blessing of God...
There is an adage, "you don't realise the importance of something until you lose it"..
I think there is no need for me to go in the details of it...
All of us are sufficiently capable of understanding that parents are to be treated like parents..

I implore all of you to read them completely and feel the feel of it...
Hope I am successful in making everyone out there wake up to the reality and change it for the good if its a case similar to the one i have described above...
