No it isn't dramatic but yes it's a cliche.

Humankind isn't bad at birth, but when growing up they become sometimes bad. It's a real illusion to hope that someday whole humankind is good. Wonderful haiku, very deep meaning.
I enjoyed reading your viewpoint. I must say when I see babies being abused, and animals badly beaten, I see badness. But the world has goodness, too. Thank you for giving me pause to think.

Deletethere are bad people. PET scans have shown that psychopaths and sociopaths have different brains than other people. they can't help how they behave.
